SPEAKEASY POLICIES

Payment Terms

To secure any date, a signed contract along with a deposit must be received.

The deposit will equal 50% of the Total Estimated Cost, determined at the initial walk through, based on the event date, hours, and any additional services or items requested. At least 30 days prior to your event, a final walkthrough must take place. At this time a diagram of the room will be sketched and all details aside from guest count guarantees will be determined. The remaining balance of the Total Estimated Cost will be due at this time.  Any additional costs later determined are due no later than three (3) days prior to your event date.

Cancellations and Refunds

If a client cancels more than 90 days prior to their event, they will be refunded 50% of the deposit.  If a client cancels 31-90 days prior to their event, they will forfeit the entire initial deposit. If a client cancels 30 days or less prior to their event, they are responsible for the Total Estimated Cost.

Vendor(s) Policy

The only exclusive vendor agreement for the Denver Speakeasy is the partnership with the Wine Dispensary, an onsite retail liquor store and wine club.  Libations for any private event inside the Denver Speakeasy, Clubhouse, or Skyline Rooftop must be procured through the Wine Dispensary.  Unused, re-sellable products may be returned at the end of the event.  Some exceptions may apply, so inquire if you would like more information.  Any alcohol served or consumed at a private event must be dispensed by properly trained, TIPS certified, and insured bartenders. No self-service bartending is allowed, and cash bars are only permitted if the Client has obtained the proper permitting from the City of Denver & State of Colorado.

Safety & Security

Any non-contracted spaces are off-limits at all times. The Speakeasy reserves the right to require the client, at client’s expense, to hire additional security personnel should we determine it would ensure safety and traffic control. Any loss or damage to the facility caused by guests, associates and/or staff will result in a damage assessment fee. Children must be supervised at all times and staffing may be required in designated areas. The Speakeasy prohibits the use of any illegal activity or inappropriate actions, including discrimination or segregation based upon race, creed, color, sex, age, disability or national origin. The Speakeasy must approve all decorations for each event and reserves the right to inspect and control all guests, vendors and associates at events, including the right to monitor and control noise levels.

In addition, we are a non-smoking venue.
